A loose or missing crown needs same-day attention. We’ll evaluate the tooth and reattach or replace your crown as quickly as possible.
We recommend a check-up every six months to maintain optimal oral health. However, if you have specific dental concerns, we may suggest more frequent visits.
Keep the crown if you still have it and avoid chewing on that side. Call our office as soon as possible. In some cases we can reattach the original crown; in others a new one may be needed. Either way, leaving the tooth exposed for too long increases the risk of damage or sensitivity.
Rinse your mouth gently with warm water and avoid chewing on that side. Over-the-counter dental cement (available at most pharmacies) can provide temporary relief, but it's not a permanent fix. Call us to get the tooth properly restored before decay or breakage sets in.
