North Scottsdale dentist · about 6 minutes from Scottsdale Ranch
Care for established smiles, and a second look at older dental work
Scottsdale Ranch grew up around Lake Serena, a park and tennis center, and neighbors who often stay for decades. So do their fillings, crowns and bridges. Dr. Christine Fink looks carefully at the dental work you already have, tells you what is holding up and what is not, and plans repairs in plain English. We are about six minutes away.
Dental work is not permanent in the way people hope. Fillings can leak at the edges, crowns can loosen, and bridges can wear on the teeth that support them. Many established neighborhoods have patients whose work was placed long ago and has quietly reached the end of its life.
At your exam, we check each restoration, show you what we see, and sort it into three piles: fine for now, worth watching and ready to replace. Restorative dentistry is where we plan the rebuilding.
If you are missing teeth, you have more than one path. A bridge uses neighboring teeth for support. A removable denture rests on the gums. An implant is anchored in the jawbone and leaves the neighboring teeth alone. Each can be the right answer for a different person.
Dr. Fink explains the trade-offs and what each means for chewing, appearance and upkeep. Learn about dental implants or full-arch All-on-4, and ask us anything at your consultation.
A second opinion is a normal thing to ask for. Bring your X-rays if you have them, or we can take new digital ones. We examine your teeth, describe what we find and set out your options. Nobody here will make you feel foolish for asking.
Our team verifies your benefits first and walks through any estimate before work begins. Without insurance, our Dental Club membership is an option.
The longer you keep your natural teeth, the more your gums matter. Bleeding when you brush, gums that look puffy or red, bad breath that does not go away and teeth that seem to be getting longer are all worth a look.
Gum disease is common, treatable when found early, and a major reason adults lose teeth. We check your gums at every exam, and preventive care keeps the follow-up simple.
Repair or replace worn fillings, crowns and bridges with natural-looking work.
Restorative dentistryCustom crowns that protect weak teeth. In many cases, a crown can be finished the same day.

Roughly 2.6 road miles, and close to six minutes behind the wheel. Look for us on Frank Lloyd Wright, a short hop from Shea.
Only an exam and X-rays can tell. We check the edges, the fit and the tooth underneath, show you what we see, and tell you honestly whether it can wait.
A bridge relies on neighboring teeth, a denture rests on the gums and can be removable, and an implant is anchored in the jawbone. We walk through each one for your situation.
Yes, and we are glad to see them. We may also take new digital X-rays so we can compare. Call us and we can tell you how to request your records.
Not at all. Patients ask for them regularly. We explain what we find without criticizing earlier work.
Fit changes over time as the jaw changes. Come in for a visit and we will talk through relining, replacing or moving to an implant-supported option.
Bring your questions, and your X-rays if you have them. Call or request a time online.
